One of our very first clients, Apalachee Salt, came to us to build their brand from the bottom up. The challenge involved creating a brand image that connects customers to reliable rock salt solutions and professional shipment services.
Our process began with discovery sessions to learn more about the business, the product, and the ideal customer. Using the terms “de-icing” and “melting away the competition,” we designed a brand identity that reflects just that.
We packaged our client's identity system into a brand style guide, including logo specs, typography, color palette, iconography, and patterns. This guide is used as a reference for internal teams, vendors, and others who are authorized to work with The Vesper brand.
Building a custom website layout begins with information architecture and wireframing. We used this as the visual guide for arranging pages and elements within the website.
Once the skeletal framework of the website was built, it was time to design the look and feel of each page, including colors, typography, graphics, and images.
We developed a custom-built, fully responsive website to inform customers of products, services, and delivery locations. The ability to request a quote was also an essential feature.
I've been working with Clokendagger since they launched in 2016. As one of their very first clients, I certainly gave them a tough challenge—build a brand from scratch, developing a website showcasing our de-icing products, and designing marketing material for trade shows. Josh took the time to meet with our team and understand our products. From there, he was able to design a timeless brand identity that we still use today. Clokendagger is highly professional and a pleasure to work with.
