Pricing Guide

The size of the client. We distinguish between three tiers: (1) soloprenuers, (2) small businesses, and (3) agencies. As a client ascends those tiers, the pricing does, too. In other words, if you’re an individual just starting out, you should expect fees substantially smaller than an established business with products and services.

Our expertise in the creative industry. Packages are priced using our skill level and experience as senior designers, writers, developers, and strategists.

The complexity of the work. A good example is the difference between designing a brand new website vs. making tweaks to a website through ongoing maintenance. We'll charge less for ongoing maintenance because it’s not nearly as complex.

 Estimated hours to complete. We only estimate hours for projects that are considered "contract for hire," in which we charge an hourly rate of $75. We charge a flat-rate fee for most of our packages, but our time investment is still a consideration.

The value you’ll get. Ultimately, design is a service industry. The service we provide is to help your business overcome its challenges and grow its customers and thrive. Thus, quotes are often impacted by the potential value you will receive from the completed project.

Cost of materials or outside services. In the course of the project, we may purchase font licenses, hire an illustrator to provide spot illustrations, or order custom tablecloths for your conference booth. Those expenses should be considered at the beginning of the project and included in the quote.

Another benefit are the "add-on" services available with each package. This makes it easy to tailor packages based on your specific needs and allows you to purchase these services at any given time during, or after, the completion of your project.
