2. Schedule creative side projects

Whether you work the regular 9-5 or work through the night, find time each quarter to plan and design a non-billable creative project. This allows you to use the strategies you’ve learned in tip #1, flex your design muscles with a new challenge, and come up with an incredible, fresh project you can showcase later.

3. Read creative topics regularly

When you start subscribing to creative influencers, your inbox will fill up with quality content and topics relevant to your field. Challenge yourself to read this new information at least once a day. Your brain craves information. Make sure you’re filling it with the best content out there.
